SHENZHEN, China – July 14, 2017 – Freudenberg Medical, a global developer and manufacturer of medical devices, components, and minimally invasive solutions for the medical device industry, announced the FDA-registration of their medical device manufacturing operation in Shenzhen, China.
“We registered our operation to manufacture a clipping device used on hospital beds,” said Terry To, General Manager. “Our dedicated team completed the project – from mold design to validation and mass production – in just five months, a terrific achievement.”
In March, the company announced a 1,200 square meter expansion of the Shenzhen operation. The investment expanded the cleanroom to accommodate 10 injection molding machines and allocated space for a new tool room and warehouse operations.
